About Me

Alice is a Peruvian-English writer based in Liverpool, UK and writes about diaspora, immigration, politics and Latin America. In 2016, she received a 1st in Drama and Creative Writing B.A. at Royal Holloway, University of London. Alice has performed her poetry alongside headliners author Rónán Hession, political activist Potent Whisper and many more artists. In 2019, Alice joined Tmesis Theatre’s Wicked Women creative development course then formed as part of the Skein Collective with 16 other women. Alice's creative pieces have been featured in Under the Radar Magazine, Bido Lito!, State of the Arts and more. She was also recently longlisted for Penguin's Write Now Programme 2020. In 2021, Alice embarked on the Young Everyman Playhouse Writers programme. Most recently, Alice performed poetry at the British Museum to launch their exhibition, Peru: a journey in time. In 2022, Alice also took part in Liverpool's Royal Court playwriting programme, Stage Write. An excerpt of her play that she worked on as part of the programme is due to be performed in 2023.
